1. Getting Started
FireTV Remote lets you easily control your Amazon Fire TV device directly from your iPhone or iPad.
To start using the app:

Make sure your iPhone/iPad and Fire TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Open FireTV Remote and wait for it to scan for nearby devices.

Select your Fire TV device from the list.

Once connected, you can use all remote features (navigation, play/pause, volume, etc.).
If your Fire TV is not detected, see the troubleshooting section below.
2. Permissions Required
For the app to work properly, please allow the following permissions when prompted:

Local Network → Needed to discover and connect to Fire TV devices on your Wi-Fi network.

Photos/Videos → Optional; only needed if you want to choose or share images within the app (e.g., send feedback with a screenshot).
You can manage these permissions anytime in Settings → Privacy.
3. Troubleshooting
If your Fire TV device doesn’t appear or can’t connect:

Ensure your Fire TV and iPhone/iPad are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Restart both devices.

Make sure your Fire TV’s ADB debugging or network discovery features are enabled.

Reopen the FireTV Remote app and try scanning again.

Check that Local Network Access is granted to the app (Settings → Privacy → Local Network).

4. Common Questions
Q: Does this app collect my personal data?
A: No. The app does not collect or store personal information. Network scanning and device connections are processed locally.
Q: Do I need to sign in with my Amazon account?
A: No. The app connects directly to your Fire TV over your local Wi-Fi network without requiring Amazon login.
Q: Does the app work with all Fire TV devices?
A: It supports most Fire TV devices and sticks that are on the same network and allow remote control via Wi-Fi.
5. Ads & Premium Features
FireTV Remote is free to use and supported by ads.
You can optionally purchase the premium version (if available) to remove ads and unlock additional features.
