This Privacy Policy applies to the PhotoClean AI mobile application available on Android and iOS.

PhotoClean AI is published on the Google Play Store under the developer name HPITStudioDev and on the Apple App Store under the developer name Hai Vo.

This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoClean AI accesses and processes information when you use the application.

1. Overview

PhotoClean AI is a local photo management and cleanup application.

The main photo analysis and processing features are performed locally on the user’s device.

PhotoClean AI does not require users to create an account.

We do not operate a server database that stores or manages users’ photos.

We do not remotely access, view, control, or delete photos stored on users’ devices.

Users control their photos and application data directly through the application and their device settings.

2. Main Application Features

PhotoClean AI may provide features including:

  • Duplicate photo detection

  • Similar photo detection

  • Screenshot detection

  • Blurry photo detection

  • Photo cleanup

  • Photo search

  • Private photo or vault management

  • Image blurring

  • Collage creation

  • Signature tools

  • Photo export

  • Storage optimization

The availability of specific features may vary depending on the application version, device, operating system, and platform.

3. Photos and Media Access

PhotoClean AI may request access to photos and media files stored on your device.

This access is used only to provide the photo management and editing features selected by you.

Depending on your device and operating system, you may grant:

  • Access to all photos

  • Access to selected photos only

  • Access through the system photo picker

  • Permission to save edited or exported photos

PhotoClean AI does not access your photos unless you grant permission or select photos through the system photo picker.

4. Local Photo Processing

Photo scanning and analysis are performed locally on your device.

Local processing may include:

  • Generating image hashes

  • Comparing photos

  • Detecting duplicate photos

  • Detecting screenshots

  • Organizing photos into categories

  • Creating previews or thumbnails

  • Editing selected photos

  • Creating collages

  • Applying blur effects

  • Adding signatures

Your photos are not uploaded to a server operated by HPITStudioDev or Hai Vo for these local features.

We do not maintain an online database containing your photo library.

5. Local Application Data

PhotoClean AI may store limited information locally on your device to operate its features.

Local application data may include:

  • Photo identifiers

  • File paths or local references

  • Duplicate or similar photo groups

  • Private photo or vault information

  • Edited image information

  • Cached previews or thumbnails

This information is stored locally within the application or device storage.

We do not have remote access to this local application data.

6. Photo Deletion

PhotoClean AI allows users to select and delete photos directly through the application.

A photo is deleted only after an action initiated or confirmed by the user, subject to the behavior and permission requirements of the operating system.

Depending on Android or iOS behavior:

  • The operating system may request additional deletion confirmation.

  • Deleted photos may be moved to the device’s Recently Deleted, Trash, or Recycle Bin folder.

  • Users may need to permanently delete photos from the device’s Recently Deleted or Trash folder.

We do not remotely delete user photos.

We do not manage deleted photos after the deletion request has been handled by the operating system.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the main application data is stored locally, users can delete it directly from their device.

Users may remove application-related data by:

  • Deleting photos through PhotoClean AI

  • Deleting files through the device’s photo or file application

  • Removing photos from the private vault

  • Revoking photo permissions

  • Uninstalling PhotoClean AI

Uninstalling the application generally removes locally stored application data according to the behavior of the operating system.

Photos located in the device’s normal photo library may remain on the device after the application is uninstalled.

We cannot remotely retrieve or delete data stored only on the user’s device.

8. Private Photo or Vault Features

If PhotoClean AI provides a private photo, secret space, or vault feature, selected content may be stored locally within an application-controlled storage area.

Depending on the application version and device, private content may be protected using:

  • A password

  • Device authentication

  • Application-level access controls

  • Local encryption provided by the application or operating system

Private photos are not stored in an online account operated by us.

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their device and remembering any password or PIN used for local private storage.

Clearing application data, uninstalling the application, resetting the device, or losing access credentials may result in the loss of locally stored private content.

Users should maintain a separate backup of important photos where appropriate.

9. Device Permissions

PhotoClean AI may request the following permissions.

Photos and Media Permission

Used to:

  • Display photos

  • Scan photos

  • Detect duplicate or similar photos

  • Organize photos

  • Delete photos selected by the user

  • Save or export images

  • Manage private photos

Storage Permission

On supported Android versions, storage permission may be used to:

  • Read supported image files

  • Save edited or exported photos

  • Delete user-selected files

Newer Android versions may use media-specific permissions or the system photo picker instead of broad storage permission.

Camera Permission

Camera permission is used only when the application provides a feature that allows the user to take a photo directly within PhotoClean AI.

The application does not intentionally use the camera in the background.

Internet Permission

Internet access may be used for limited services such as:

  • Displaying advertisements

  • Processing in-app purchases

  • Crash reporting

  • Application analytics

  • Loading application configuration

Internet access is not required for us to remotely access or manage the user’s local photo library.

Users can manage or revoke permissions through their device settings.

Some features may not work correctly when required permissions are disabled.

10. Accounts and Personal Information

PhotoClean AI does not require users to register or create an application account.

We do not request users to provide:

  • Their full name

  • A profile photo

  • A home address

  • A phone number

  • A date of birth

  • Account login credentials

Because PhotoClean AI does not operate a user account system, we generally cannot associate locally stored photos or scan results with a specific person.

11. Purchases and Subscriptions

PhotoClean AI may offer premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Purchases are processed by the applicable app store:

  • Apple App Store for iOS

We do not directly receive or store complete payment card information.

The app store or subscription service may provide limited purchase information, such as:

Deleting PhotoClean AI does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

We do not share users’ photos with other PhotoClean AI users.

We do not operate a service for publishing or publicly displaying user photos.

Limited technical, advertising, diagnostic, subscription, or purchase information may be processed by third-party services integrated into the application, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed when required to comply with applicable law, legal processes, or valid requests from public authorities.

14. Security

PhotoClean AI uses reasonable measures to protect locally stored application data.

Security may rely on protections provided by:

  • The Android or iOS operating system

  • Application sandboxing

  • Device encryption

  • Device authentication

  • Application access controls

  • Local vault protection

Because the main application data is stored on the user’s device, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device.

PhotoClean AI does not require users to create an account or provide their name, email address, phone number, or date of birth.

  • Removing private photos from the local vault
