These Terms of Use govern your use of the LivaSub mobile application. By downloading or using LivaSub, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

LivaSub provides real-time speech recognition, subtitles, and multilingual translation. Features may include live transcription, floating subtitles, offline translation, free usage limits, and optional lifetime access.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use LivaSub for lawful personal purposes.

You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract LivaSub's source code or AI models.

  • Bypass security, purchase, or usage-limit mechanisms.

  • Use LivaSub for unlawful activities.

  • Record, capture, or transcribe communications without any consent required by applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of LivaSub complies with applicable recording, privacy, and copyright laws.

3. Permissions & Privacy

LivaSub may request permissions required for its features, including:

  • Microphone: to process speech and generate subtitles.

  • Overlay: to display floating subtitles over other apps where supported.

Speech recognition and translation are processed locally on your device. LivaSub does not upload or store your audio or transcript content on our servers.

4. Free Usage & Purchases

LivaSub may provide a limited free usage allowance that resets periodically.

A Lifetime in-app purchase may unlock unlimited access to eligible features. Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective terms and policies.

5. Accuracy & Disclaimer

Speech recognition and machine translation may contain errors due to factors such as accents, background noise, audio quality, or model limitations.

LivaSub is provided “AS IS” and should not be relied upon for medical, legal, emergency, safety-critical, or other situations requiring guaranteed accuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or similar damages resulting from your use of LivaSub.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when published. Continued use of LivaSub after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
